Sweet perfection

Only time for a quick post today, but as a proud mama I had to update on the girls. Amelie had her two month exam today - shots, poor baby! But I was so pleased to know that she has gone from 6 lbs. 9 oz to a whopping 11 lbs. 4 oz! For well over a week now she's been sleeping great, waking only once to eat, and one night last week actually went the whole night through. She's such a great eater when awake, that we're blessed (early) with such a great sleeper. Mommy, Daddy and Maddie are getting tons of wonderful smiles, and today she smiled "my" way -- with eyes squished shut. :)

Can't post about her without also sharing a big sis funny... Her teacher, sweet Miss Mary Ann, put her in the car at carpool today and let me know that she wasn't able to get Maddie's sweater zipped up. Maddie, much like me, is very particular about her clothes and doesn't understand that jackets and sweaters don't have to be fully buttoned, zipped, etc. Normally this results in tears, but when Miss Mary Ann explained that she couldn't do it, but "let's not cry," Maddie responded with a razz of her lips and shrug of her shoulders. Her "oh well" I guess!

Feeling fortunate and blessed daily...
